I'm so ready for a break. This is my last week of school and work for a whole month woo hoo
I went to a Pilates class on Friday plus my normal workout afterwards. It was seriously such a NICE change up. I loved waking up Saturday morning and being so sore. I LOVE THAT FEELING.
So to be a little bit truthful...i've been struggling with my diet lately BIG TIME. By diet I mean just eating healthy. I do amazing all week then the weekends roll around and I turn into something who apparently hasn't ate in 20 1/2 years. It's bad. Then by Sunday night I'm bloated, disgusted, and beating myself up. Just to wake up and do it all again the next week/weekend.
I.must.stop.the.cycle. Seriously. I feel like utter crap when I do this. I think it mainly is stemming from the fact I am so bored with food. You can only eat the same stuff for so long. It's def not an excuse though..i need to get some healthy cook books or look some stuff up online to beat this. I'm in control..and I've been doing a really crappy job at it.
I'm sticking at a pretty consistent weight. Somehow. If you guys could only see the stuff i've been eating you would be shocked by this. I talked to my trainer last week and we agreed that at the beginning of January I will start training again with them...all the way 'till our wedding in October.
We set a date. October 20, 2012. :) I want to be in the best shape of my life by then..so this binge eating crap...I gotta stop it.
Anyways, in all the randomness of this post and in my avoidance of pending papers and studying...I've found my weekly obsessions...

| If heaven were a boot...it would be these rain boots. I actually hate rain boots, but in the 6 degree weather and pouring down rain today..I found myself googling rainboots. |

| Love this. Unfortunately I find it ridiculous to pay 200 for a purse. Why must I be so frugal? |
Happy Monday!

I feel you girl! Finals week is so stressful! But I'm done with all of mine now, thank goodness!
And yay, I'm so excited that you've set a date! How fun!
I totally understand the binge eating thing. I do really well at planning my meals all week and making sure I eat appropriate portion sizes, but then quit over the weekend. It is like I don't have a schedule to keep so i don't keep track of what is going into my mouth either. I am currently working on keeping more of a schedule on the weekends, but we will see how that goes.
Good luck on your finals! I just finished mine and couldn't be happier that they are done!
Good luck on your finals! I am also a grad student and just finished mine at Saturday. Once all of the stress is gone it helps to focus more on fitness and a healthy lifestyle.
I also deal with binge eating over the weekends. During the week I keep a strict schedule which helps me to eat healthier. I make all of my meals ahead, but on the weekends I have such an open schedule that I just graze all day. I help with that I am making more of an effort to schedule my weekends like I do during the week. I like to have downtime, but I start off everyday with a workout. Mentally it helps me eat less knowing how much work I put in earlier in the day!
